I used to post frequently about books I was reading or wanted to suggest, so some of you know that I am a huge Jodi Picoult fan. And I know that some of you blog readers are fans of hers as well. She's written seventeen books and I think I've read about fifteen. The first one I devoured was The Pact and as soon as I was done I drove to Barnes + Noble and bought My Sister's Keeper. Now she's releasing one book a year and I usually love them so much I have to buy them in hardcover.
Tonight I went down to her book reading and picked up her new one called House Rules.
I purchased a second copy to give away and had that one signed as well...
If you aren't familiar with Jodi Picoult, she is an amazing writer who pulls me in with her layered storylines. Tonight I said to her that she's the only author who can keep me awake on a flight. But her books are often controversial. For example, this book deals with a murder and a boy with Asperger's Syndrome. Her books are not chick lit, they are not light reading, and do often require a box of tissues.
But they are good.
So if you would like to win this copy of House Rules leave a comment with a book suggestion for me. I'll pick a winner on Sunday :)
ETA: please, please, please do not say Twilight. I love you Twilighters and yes, Robert Patteson is an attractive little boy. But I'm begging you not to comment with Twilight.
