First I wanted to say thank you for all the fun comments on my birthday post. They were fun to read and it was very cool to get to know my readers a tiny bit more... I really enjoyed all the comments and hearing how you all celebrated turning 30. Thanks for all the ideas, encouragement, advice. I liked hearing more from you so I'm going to plan some more posts like that before my birthday!
My to-do list for work has never been longer so I've gotten far behind on my Project Life. I took a break today to work on Week Six and decided simple + streamlined (read: quick + boring) was the best way for me to work it out and get the week documented.
I have been slacking in taking photos with my camera recently and have relied heavily on my iPhone. I go through phases like this and hopefully it will swing the other way soon. During the week I'd taken only about one photo per day (besides when I documented Day in the Life) so I just picked my favorite four for the left half of the page.
I used some Kesi'Art paper that sweet Celine was generous enough to bring me from France along with vellum and stamps. This week I just felt BLERG and that's all there is to it.
I included my photos from the Wednesday Day in the Life and cut down the large photo again to fit into the pockets. The journaling from my blog post was printed right onto the photo.
I've definitely learned that it's hard to get too far ahead in the weeks and go back to remember how I felt, what I did, what photos I took. It's definitely motivation to tell myself to take a break from work and make time to work on the album... because it's something that I really enjoy putting together and we all need that creative break from the work work work.
