Week Eight is as far as I've gotten with my album - other work has taken priority and I definitely miss spending time on PL. It's nice to have it as my fun creative outlet. Color is sticking around and yellow took over Week Eight. I'm staying with single speads for these weeks and I like it like that.
On the backside of the Valentines insert, I printed off this Adele quote (I love, love, love Adele... best break-up album ever, in fact) from this Pin I had saved.
I used the Studio Calico PL stamps (Awesome + Epic) heavily this week on the Clementine journaling cards. I also pulled out some older Studio Calico stamps, the Stepping stone alpha stamps, and some Crate Paper stickers left over from my March kit. All photos are Instagrams. This week talks about moving forward, dating new people, feeling impatient.
Julie and I were discussing PL over lunch on Friday and i thought about how I'm trying to be honest in my spreads - the good and the bad are both in there for me (and others too, I guess) to read. I'm glad I went that route with this album. A lot of my other pages are very happy, vibrant, glossed over journaling but here I've indulged myself in venting a little. Yes, I wish there wasn't so much BLERGing going on in this book but my life sure has been a project this year and here is where it's honestly documented.
