Life has been really quiet around here. Really quiet. I have been doing a lot of work on different projects and just taking some time out for myself. That doesn't leave much to put into my Project Life album, but I have caught up on the past week. I am really happy that I did the smaller size this year, works well creating single cards when I go to use my August + September Project Kit.
Barb and I went to an Outstanding in the Farm dinner last Sunday. I will blog more about this but it was absolutely amazing. I used my Foodie stamp set to create a little card. Love this set so much.
I made a card with paper from the Project Kit and my word bubble stencil. I quickly spread the Wet Cement dauber over top of the stencil. The "blaze your trail" stamp is from my Happy Camper set. Lots of labels here too - Real Deal and I Love It.
The "mama needs a cocktail" badge is from my Edgy 2 set... and isn't it the truth sometimes. Definitely was on that night. Small side note - I was a waitress at Bennigan's for four years in college. I still crave that food. My friend Nathan kindly hit it up with me last week. Most of them have closed but there is one still open downtown Chicago for all of those craving a deep fried Monte Cristo sandwhich (and aren't we all?)
I also included my write-up on So How Was Your Day? My lovely friend Jessica is the genius this site and it was an honor to be included with the other talent she's featured. You can read more about my day right here and who my ultimate dream scrapbook would be made for.
