Here's Week Nine of my album, which includes a lot of photos from a three day trip out to Portland. I've put together a video showing my process for putting together the spread. It took me just slightly under an hour to do the spread (the stamping slowed me down on this one) but I zoomed up the video so it's eight minutes long.
The photos from this week got printed at Persnickety Prints and I ordered a big 12x12 that I cut down to two 6x12 photos. I took a lot of pics on my trip, it was hard to narrow them down. Portland was all beautiful and in bloom.
On the first big 6x12 I stamped directly onto the photo using my new Shoreditch stamp set (in my shop now here.) I wanted to make sure the ink I was using didn't smear so I stamped with Cloud White VersaMagic, which dries quickly and has a chalk like finish. I also recommend the Brilliance Moonlight White ink pad for stamping onto photos.
I used a couple of cards from the Ready... Jet Set! kit that was in my shop - love this one.
The little coffee cup is from my Check It Off stamp set (in my shop here) as well as the little FRI and the small alpha letters. I'm just going to stamp this coffee cup everywhere, don't mind me.
I've been seeing more + more people sharing their Project Life spreads in the 6x12 size, which is super exciting. It's been a fun size for me to do and it really has made it easy for me to keep up with my album each week (knock wood) and get this year documented.
