Last night I was on a red-eye back from SLC and just now woke up from finishing my required 8 hours of sleep... so I'm a little late to the Studio Calico Reveal Party! But I still want to share my pages for this month...
This layout was made because I really wanted to do something fun with the Jett alphabet that is in Napa Valley and the Jett numbers. The starbursts just got created for a fun circle embellishment and I'll be doing a tutorial on how to make them on the SC blog soon. I added a Postage Stamp punched border to mine, which gives them a cool edge.
As soon as I saw the bike paper in the Main Kit, I knew I had to do a layout about biking through Vienna on our trip. The map is from a guide book I had bought and we heavily relied on during our bike adventure, so it meant a lot to me to include that on the layout. The blue + green Basic Grey paper is from Napa Valley too... I love how April includes these papers so that just work so effortlessly together. Makes me happy.
I made SF using just the Santa Cruz add-on and the idea was to do something new with the Postage Stamp punch. It sold out in the store really quickly, so I hope I inspired some of you to get that one in your shopping cart. I love the idea of making your own little postage stamps.
So that's it for me this month! If I was going to enable you I would say be sure to pick up some extra SC Patterned Paper and also (one of my favorite SC stamps) Harper's Ruler stamp is in the shop. I know that Reveal just went up, but I have to tell you that I'm already in love with the December kit and even have my layouts planned out. Excited. Hope you enjoy!
