For me, Valentines Day has always been about my girlfriends. The true loves of my life. Even when I had a boyfriend, Sarah + Chloe flew in for the weekend and we had a girls night out. Wouldn't have it any other way.
A couple of years ago I had fun making and sending out Valentines, so I thought I'd do it again this year. I think those Valentines were the original idea for my Christmas cards last year. I took a couple hours last week to crank out some little Valetines for my dear girlfriends...
It started with the stamp I designed and had custom made. For spacing purposes I threw in the "that" in the first line and to this very second it still bugs me. Whew, I feel better getting that off my chest. The background of the cards are pages from the recent J.Crew catalog and I found these awesome neon pink envelopes + metallic doilies at Paper Presentation in Union Square.
Add on some strips of the new Amy Tangerine paper + little jewels and they were good to go. They've made their way to some friends' mailboxes (loved seeing people share them on Instagram!)
