One thing I have zero complaints about was the fact that we had a mild winter. One real day of snow in January is all that I can remember. This also brought about an early Spring - and Summerlike weather yesterday - and the city seemed to bloom so early this year. Again, no complaints from the peanut gallery. Unless we hit 90* next week, which seems likely.
While I was traveling I was worried I'd miss most-of-the-best part of Spring in NYC, which is the pink blossoms that appear. I missed quite a few and haven't had a chance to make it out to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens again yet, but I did get to indulge in one of my favorite Spring things... going for a run under the blossoms around the Reservoir in Central Park.
Blossoms, check. A baseball game, trip to Smorgasburg, outdoor concert, and perhaps a little Spring Fever to follow.
