Week Seven in the bag. Cruising right along here in 2015. For this week I put together a video of my process. It took me 40 minutes to do the layout but I speeded it up to just eight, because I doubt you want to watch me scrapbook for that long. Trust me.
Apologies for the intense blurriness - it went through two computers and a lot of iMovie wonkiness.
This week was actually great to film because I messed up pretty bad on my first stamping attempt and had to throw away the photo and start again. Sometimes that happens when you live life on the edge and stamp directly onto your photos. It's a wild life.
Here's a look at the spread:
The first part of the week I was at home, only changing out of my pajamas once to go work at the coffee shop. Like I said, wild life. I was in NYC for the last part of the week and a lot happened in those few days.
I haven't been including a lot of memorabilia in the album this year but I wanted to add in the little pin from Dia:Beacon. I stapled it onto my title photo with my favorite Tiny Attacher.
Studio Calico has new 9x12 albums + page protectors this year (my friends at A Beautiful Mess will soon have them too!) and I bought some to cut down and put in my album. They really are crystal clear and that made me happy. I chopped off one column of this 9x12 page protector to make six 3x4 pockets so I could put in some Instax photos. (I toted my camera around in record low temperatures in NYC so I think that made the film go wonky. Oh well.)
I love how you can see the right side of the spread through the pocket. I have big plans for these 9x12 page protectors in the future - woohoo.
Here's the right side of the spread and it has a lot of stamping with the Clearly Kelly stamps. I used the Live Big set for "good morning" and I feel like every project now needs something from the Scored Tabs set.
I also transferred everything from the American Crafts 12x12 Modern Album (which I never got the chance to chop down yet) into the awesome American Crafts 6x12 Thickers album. This album just makes me happy.
