I've closed the book on my 2015 Project Life album! Woohoooooo. I kind of never thought this day would come and it would sit incomplete on my desk forever. Until last weekend, when I realized it's almost August and I now have an entire half a year of 2016 to work on. Time to get 'er done. Back in the spring I'd printed the photos for the last seven weeks with my Epson PictureMate printer, so that definitely helped streamlined the process.
While I don't have any process videos to share of the last seven weeks, I did do an overview video walking through the spreads and giving a little info + thought process behind them. You can watch it below or here on my YouTube channel:
Back in January 2015 when I was sitting with Tina + Jamaica thinking up the 6x12 size, we had no idea at all that it would inspire so many people to switch to that size. It's incredible to see a huge number of people now using this size for their album and saying how easy or manageable it makes Project Life. I'm so happy that I could inspire you out there!
And now here comes a flood of photos of the last weeks in 2016:
On the December spreads I used some of the new Clearly Kelly holiday stamps - thrilled about this new release coming from Hero Arts! I had a lot of fun designing it and they're fun to use. I hope you like them too. A preorder for the holiday stamps will be up at KellyPurkeyShop.com on the 28th.
It might take me another four months to light the fire under my butt to make some progress in 2016 but this year has been amazing, so I'm excited about documenting it. Lots of photos to get off my devices and actually printed. I can't wait.
The rest of my 2015 album blogged here.
